This insulated cabin with full basement is Open all year round. It is complete with 2 bedrooms with a new beds in each room. Sheets, comforters, towels are included, the bathroom features a full tub w/ shower.
Walk into the living room & lounge on the queen size sleeper sofa in front of the entertainment center & Fire place, a T. V. & VCR/DVD, CD player, are just steps from the fully appointed kitchen. Equipped with Microwave, stove, fridge, toaster, coffee maker, gas grill, ( please grill on the deck! :-). silverware &dishes, pots & pans, window air conditioning in 3 rooms. A picnic table & fire Pit add to the outdoor feel of this Ohio lake vacation rental cabin. Located on a private forested lane. newly widened parking apron & turning area. Firm enough for motor cycles.
Along the back of theLake cabin 2 large picture windows allow a view through the trees of the Dam area of Tappan Lake. Step out through the sliding glass door onto the full 2nd story deck & feel as if you are suspended up inside the tree canopy. Deer & turkey are often seen early in the mornings. Squirrels often drop walnuts on theCottage roof & a red headed woodpecker is a frequent visitor in the area. Relax on a park bench on the edge of the woods; enjoy the scenic vista of humming birds & assorted creatures in this private cabin nook. Shell some of the provided corn & toss over the hill for God's littler creatures. This may attract some early morning deer/ turkey visitors. (Seasonal, but look for the green bin in the basement, & only a couple of ears! PLEASE).

Sugar Creek Amish village is not so far away. Start your excursion close by & work your way to the Amish Village & back to your Vacation cottage / cabin base camp. And now on to more relaxing pursuits ... fishing , hikling, Photography hunting. Or , just sit back & enjoy the wider improved view of the Tappan lake dam.
For Motor Cyclists, this is biker heaven. Hundereds of miles of winding 2 lane backwoods roads to scooter your way about.

A public landing & ramp is located at the foot of the hill & the Tappan Lake Marina is just up the lake.
Hiking, fishing, motorcycle and bicycling & swimming can be found at the Tappan Lake Park. The water ski zone is quite roomy and boat swimming is allowed in designated areas. Hunting abounds in the area.
Look up the latest hiking, bicycling trail in the area. the Conotton Trail features 11.4 miles + of paved surface passing the old railroad through 4 local towns including Bowerston, Ohio & Scio, Ohio. the Buckeye Trail crosses the Tappan Lake Dam just a mile away.
Bicycling at Mcculloughs Vacation Lake cabin has never been so enjoyable, so fun & easy.
Sea World, Amish products, fishing, golfing, hiking,cycling, shopping, Flea marketing & Fine dining are only a 25-min. drive away.

Tappan Lake has 2,350 acres of water, maximum depth of 34 feet. Fish include Channel, Flathead Catfish, Bullhead, White & Largemouth Bass, Pan fish, Walleye, & Saugeye.
The cabin is located 1/8 mile off St. Rt. 250 & township road 215. look for the Pine tree on the right 3/4's up the hill. the mail box has my sign on it.
Between Cadiz, Ohio & Uhrichsville, Ohio. 20 minutes from the New Philadelphia exit on I-77. Or 20 minutes north of St. Rt. 22.
